Hotel Regina is an elegant family hotel with lots of individuality and quirks and amazing collection of old antiquities and local art. Its old school with a modern ish feel on comfort and facilities are extensive. Everything works well and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed with a Ski club and the four courses we had every night were absolutely top level cheffing with a good wine list. Loved the pool, hot tub on balcony and sauna and nice touches of afternoon snacks and bar service pre and post dinner in a relaxing lounge. A really kind team is on hand and st martino is a charming Italian town with super free ride opportunities in the beautiful dolomites.

We took on the second half of the Alta Via 2 and started with two nights relaxing at the Storico Regina. Excellent friendly staff, half board offer was great. Particularly liked the view from the large hot tub and the sauna pod.

The Hotel Regina is a wonderful hotel. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Over my 10 day trip to the Dolomites this was by far the best hotel I stayed in. Highly recommended.

Completely lovely hotel: friendly and helpfull staff, amazing relax centre, delicious meals ready for each breakfast and dinner (no chance to loose on weight:) When you wake up in the morning and you will see the breathtaking view, you will definitely be motivated to go up to mountains and when coming back in the afternoon, you will apreciated relax activities in the hotel. If I could, I would stay longer than one week.
Room tip: In the first floor there are rooms which allow you direct access to jacuzzi :)

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The weather cooperated so that we could see the mountains and hike. Our room was facing the mountains with a balcony. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. We liked the sauna and hot tub on the deck outside. The breakfast had some good variety. We had dinner there one night and thought the buffet was good.
Room tip: Get a room with a balcony if you can.

Hotel located right on the Passo Rolle road as it becomes one way into town, but rooms at the back are quiet. It is a short walk to town center and the town seems quite quiet, at least in summer. Our room, 308, was very large (junior suite) and had a balcony. Great views from the windows on 3 sides of hotel. However, the bathroom was very small and the shower ab;out 3 feet wide. It was not easy to wash hair without bruising elbows and dropping things.
The decor of the room is very old fashioned - red velvet drapes, etc. but the room has carpeting and the pictures on the walls are very eclectic. Parking was a bit tight, but OK. There is an elevator.
For us, the main down side, in addition to the shower, was that the staff spoke little English and could therefore not provide any help about what to see and do. Luckily the Tourist Info office was not far away.
Room tip: room at back will have the best view and be quiet.
