Great little site, clean facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant on site and superb fresh bread. Perfect for a stopover if using the motorway but better to use as a base for the Cinque Terra, Portofino and Genoa. Sestri is a lovely seaside town well worth exploring, 5 minutes drive away or by bus which stops at the bottom of the lane.

Very helpful staff particularly the manager. Clean showers and sinks. Felt safe for children to wander around. Pitches very packed in so felt a bit claustrophobic. Also very noisy until late. Children running around until 11.00/11.30 and singing in restaurant!

Lovely staff, really clean facilities, lots of hot water and a really nice small and friendly campsite. Sestri is a lovely little town and it was a great base for visiting Cinque Terre and Portofino. Would definately go back.

It may be a basic campsite, but it is in a nice setting and the people are lovely. Danilo & Adriana made us feel very welcome, even running us into Sestri Levante for a small fee. As someone said earlier, the site is almost beneath a motorway junction, but you wouldn't know it from the noise levels. The Italians really do know how to deal with road noise! Their website warns you not to follow your satnav because of a low bridge, but we exceeded the height specified and our satnav followed their instructions precisely. We had paid a €30 deposit into their bank, and everything was fine.

After a lovely afternoon in Sestri, which is fabulous, we caught a bus the next day from the end of the road (€3 each) and headed off by train to the Cinque Terre. The bus dropped us in the station square and we set off for Vernazza and Riomaggiore. The train cost €9 each anad allowed you to hop and off at any of the towns. The Cinque Terre were fantastic, very picturesque and not at all expensive. We will be back this year to see the other three towns.

We are looking forward to seeing Danilo and his family again.

It could not have been better. The place, the atmosphere, Danilo the Manager, everything. We will come back next year for sure! Loved it all! Special is the hospitality, and the beautiful area. Very good location for going to Cinque Terra etc.
