Yes, you need to climb up three floors without elevator, There is no air condition and in some rooms only a shared bath-room. However, you have a lovely historic building, all rooms are individually and suitably furnished. And the receptionist is very helpful with the luggage and to find you a parking lot somewhere nearby. Not to forget to mention the common breakfast round table and the roof terrace with a wonderful panorama view.

If you are looking for grandure and elegance with medieval charm then this is the place to stay. You really feel part of the family who have owned this house for centuries through all the collection of photos and personal treasures. The care and attention to the finishes touches in each room with all the amazing antiques is wonderful.
We had the pleasure of being the only guests early in April and the size of the place is incredible. We chose to stay in the two bedroomed apartment which has the slightly larger bathroom but it still felt like the whole house was ours with the large lounge and dining room. Equally impressive is the beautiful roof terrace with fantastic views out to the countryside over the roof tops. Had the weather been kinder to us I’m sure we would have been happy to spend a whole day up there!
The location just off the main square is perfect for being close to the restaurants and bars. It was easy to drive to following maps on mobiles and Christian sorts you out with a parking permit and a spot as close as possible to the house.
Christian is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble. The warm welcome and trust is genuine and it was a pleasure to meet him.
I could easily stay in this house forever. I absolutely loved it.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful

The Resideza occupies a floor of a palazzo just off the main square. Through the ancient street door you have to climb two flights of worn medieval stairs up to the second floor, but one there you get a warm welcome. The bedrooms are like family rooms with old pictures on the walls and old furniture. It has a great feeling and there are stairs from the breakfast/sitting room leading up to a terrace with wonderful views of the town. The air-conditioned breakfast room also has tea and coffee making facilities (the tea is free) and a well-stocked bar in a fridge - just make a note of what you have had and it will be added to the bill. There is not much choice at breakfast but the food is good. The one downside, as others have mentioned, are the bathrooms which are small and not well equipped, but this is a great place to stay right in the centre of town.

located on the second floor of a large old house now divided into flats, this large apartment has several rooms plus impressive double-height beamed space used for breakfast and as a sitting room. From here you can access a large terrace with magnificent views of terracotta roofs rolling down to a panoramic wooded hill landscape. The manager/receptionist Christian could not have been more helpful, from finding a nearby parking space (with hotel permit) to local recommendations and even contacting a local friend of a friend. Would certainly go back.

Room Tip: double room with double aspect views is best
