A lovely hotel, restored well with beautiful grounds especially the terrace for drinks, the pavilion and lawn at the newly opened summer bar and a brand new pool area.
Generous size bedroom.
The hotel has skimped on some aspects that prevent this review being 5 star.

Spent one night here. Staff was friendly & helpful. Ample free parking. Huge room with comfy bed, recently refurbished. Very spacious bathe with large jetted tub. Views would have been gorgeous if it hadn’t been foggy. I’d stay again !

Hotel was quit nice, but the staff was very unfriendly. We reserved a table for 15 people but we were the only ones supposed to sit inside.
After we ordered drinks, which never came, we were asked to get them at the bar in the garden. It should have been open until midnight but they told us at 11.45 pm it is already closed.
The people at the reception were really nice and friendly, very helpful.
Room tip: Free parking spots, nice view

Liebe Maria, es tut uns wirklich leid, dass wir uns nicht so gut verständlich gemacht haben: Im Sommer ist unser Barservice ausschließlich im Park aktiv und nicht auf dem Platz gegenüber dem Hotel. Deshalb haben sie dich gebeten, im Park zu sitzen ...
Sicherlich unsere Schuld, wir werden bei den Erklärungen vorsichtiger sein.

A great hotel, with all the amenities very close to the town centre.
Located high on a hill.
Our room overlooked the lake, with beautiful views.
Excellent service.
The hotel is closing down for refurbishment until April 2022.
Room tip: Ask for lake view

Nice old hotel, many rules in regards to Corona. Hotel is charming but may need some paint here and there. Room is 100,- euro a night including a really good breakfast and free parking.
It’s a 10 minute walk downhill to a rather large supermarket.
They offer a shuttle service to downtown. Be aware, this is no free service. They charge 5,- per person per ride. A taxi is 7,10 for the same trip ;)
