We stayed as a family in a 4 room for 4 days and had a good time.
The hotel itself is clean and bright, the room was spacious for 4 with a good size bathroom. Beds were comfortable and it was clean and quiet.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was quite alright, but nothing extravagant , and offered a gluten free basket.
Location was good both for plenty of restaurants and bars , and is right in front of the Pallanza stop for the boat trips ; doing the islands is also to be recommended..
Quite a few parking spaces both white (free) and blue (pay ) , we were lucky..

One slight disappointment was that there was no pool or even a garden or top floor sun area to sit outside , as the beach was a 10 minute walk, we did several times as water was fine for swimming.

Can recommend.

The hotel was an hour drive from Malpensa Airport. The location was just perfect, at the lake front all quite and peaceful (maybe due to the season) We stayed in for 5 nights in two separate rooms (1 triple, one double) facing the side street. Both rooms were spacious and contained everything we needed. The rooms were spotless clean and smelled so good.
The interior isn’t as fancy as the exterior, but it was quite practical.
The staff were always very courteous and helpful in every occasion.
We rented bikes from the reception and took a ride around Verbania. The view was gorgeous accompanied by an incredible smell of new blossom flowers on the way.
The hotel offers payable parking places for cars, however it was always easy to find free parking spots around the neighborhood.
There are many restaurants in a walking distance.
Lastly the breakfast although having much choice wasn’t as tasty as it looked.
Still, would definitely come again.

+ Friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home and they are very well-informed to help the guests enjoy the area.
+ Spotlessly clean
+ Lovely breakfast
+ Wonderful location to relax right in front of the Lago Maggiore. The room enjoys excellent views of the lake and the surrounding mountains and the Isola Madre. The hotel is centrally located to enjoy the area and within easy reach to the main tourist attractions and to the surrounding towns. In fact, Hotel Belvedere is right in front of the stop of the ferry boat to the Borromean Islands, Stresa and Baveno; a short walk away from Piazza Gramsci for the bus stops to neighbouring towns and to the train station of Omegna; and excellently located to enjoy lovely walks along the shore of the Lago Maggiore to appreciate the neighbourhood and the neighbouring towns.

With a view to lake Magiori, a welcoming price and a very beautiful and confortable room I consider it to be a great choice. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice, but I think it was the worst of a wondeful experience.

Hotel Belvedere and Hotel Gottardo are located side by side on the waterfront in Verbania, sharing some of the installations. The reception is in the Belvedere and serves both hotels. The staff is helpful and helpful.
Measured on the external facade; and also on the 4-star rating, my expectations were not fully met in respect of the facilities and the service level. The double room #427 with view of the Lake is relatively large and nicely decorated, held in warm colors, equipped with a large double bed, and a work desk with two simple desk chairs. A comfortable armchair or small sitting area where guests could comfortably rest and enjoy the beautiful views, is missing.
It was rather disturbing that woolen blankets are still used. The concept of a modern 4-star is to offer guests a freshly covered quilt and not an unhygienic overused blanket. The W-LAN connection is unreliable and a kettle for making tea and coffee or a bottle of mineral water was missing.
The bath room is large, but somehow coming into age. Instead of terry towels, plain cotton sheets are often found in Italy; and so in the Belvedere. Worth to mention that the room and the bathroom were very clean.
The breakfast is richly garnished with a large selection of cakes. Next to the hotel is a restaurant/pizzeria with a large terrace where tasty traditional food is served at affordable prices.
During the day it is hard to find free public parking. The charm of the hotel is unmistaken the view on the Lago Maggiore and the Borromean islands, therefore a room with lake view is worth the top-up.. The old town with its small alleys and winding streets lies just behind the hotel.

Room tip: Room with lake view
