The location is ideal, on the promenade and quieter end. No hotels in Viareggio have their own beach, Each section along the coastline is owned by a club or restaurant where you have to pay minimum 20 euros. This hotel has a deal with one across the road for 10 euros a day to get a sun lounger & chair. You can then go in and out as you please. The rooms were adequate. For breakfast you pay additional 6 Euros. The staff were very helpful, we used to come back late night and they never minded. We enquired with few 3 star hotels which were not on the promenade and they quoted higher rates than Internazionale. For its location, we thought it was good value. 24/7 Hot water.

Room Tip: Our room was close to the dining area, so there was noise sometimes in the mornings. They only serve breakfast.

I visited viareggio for carnival 2017- it's off main season in Feb but busying due to carnival which runs each weekend in the build up to shrove Tuesday annually. The hotels perfect for viewing carnival as its inside the carnival event zone so you don't have to purchase a ticket unless you go outside the zone. We watched the giant floats go inches past out 3rd floor Windows-breathtaking! The rooms where adequate, typically Italian decor throughout hotel and the staff very friendly, helpful. Shower in bathroom in my room - no bath, a small space but adequate, cleaning was regular, take slippers for cold tile floors. Wooden shutters handy for shade on hot days and windy days at that time of year. Basic...basic continental.Ask for your 1 free coffee from bar- you get charged for other bar coffee which isn't pointed out initially..... but there's a kettle there anyway...the fruit bowl wasn't regularly filled when we visited and a few mouldy oranges where spotted...the cake and tarts could have been refreshed more frequently also, probably not a problem in height of season. Location is ideal for the beach and lidos in summer season.easy walk to town or along promenade and Thursday markets where outside the doors.its a beautiful architectures building but not Art Deco era in hotel, novel lift for 2 people only and suitcases...we walked up them most days. The airport bus can be taken from a short walk away along road to arrive or leave, 15 min walk to train station, 10min walk to bus station area. I left a book behind in my room and the staff helpfully posted it back to me in uk for €15

Considering that I ve been in this hotel in high season and that is sea front , I would say the quality/price is fair. The rooms have though a really old style decoration, they are quite small and a little scruffy but clean. The breakfast is good and also it is a great thing that they have a daily parking ticket of 5 euros to park in the street. Staff really welcoming. Also they have a deal with the sunbed and ombrella with the beach in front of the hotel.

Where to start, first of all the room was very dark, the shower had some rotten stains inside, also the water took 5 minutes to get warm and there is nearly enough shampoo or soap to get through one day.
The breakfast is not appetizing, a lot of the food we tried was not good.
The night guard insist that we leave him the keys (which we did not), even while on the phone he would interrupt us to get they keys. When we left the hotel to eat, we locked the room one turn, but when we got back it was locked 2 times, so he must have gone it the room. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR OBJECTS OF VALUE. Will not be coming back here ever.

Really exceptional family run hotel. Staff Arianna, Sarah and Gianluca are very friendly. Beautiful decor and clean. Nice size bedrooms and some with sea views and balcony. A few minutes walk from the exceptionally clean beaches and promenade. Good buffet breakfast and a bar open in the evening. I've stayed here many times and am looking forward to returning. Just a few small steps from street level to reception makes this hotel suitable for disabled travellers. There is a lift and some rooms on the ground floor.
