After a tour of Volterra we stopped here for lunch at what is billed as an organic farm. The road in is rocky and unwelcoming but once arrived a pleasant surprise. There are sculptures along the road as the owner believes in the arts and allows artists to leave their wares.

A lunch of bruschetta, homemade lasagna with salad and gelato for dessert was delicious and the service wonderful. Wine flowed and the owners were welcoming and very nice.

There is a mean donkey on the premises and meant to be seen from afar!

Our stay at the farm was really nice and very relaxing. We had a big double room with (as it seemed) a newly renovated bathroom and nice views of the tuscany hills.
The staff is really helpfull and nice although not everyone speaks english.
Because it is also a working cheese farm, you can see how the sheeps are milked (if you get up really early) and you can get a small tour in the little factory. You also get the chance to try a lot of the local products which are produced on the farm, like the sheep yoghurt, icecream or cheese ofcourse, but also the olive oil and ofcourse the wine. Which is served every night at dinner.
We ended up staying here almost every night for dinner, so we tried almost everything of the menu. The plates are huge and really good. The atmosphere of eating outside sitting on the long tables is also really nice.
The agriculturo has a swimming pool which is great for cooling off and has great views with really nice sunsets
We rented a vespa to drive around. The last road untill you get to the farm is a little tricky (a lot of rocks and sands), but that's what makes the farm nice and secluded, all alone on one of the hilltops.

We stayed in Lischeto for three nights while visiting the area around Volterra. Very beautifull peremises with a big pool, a relaxation area and two patios where you can take in the magnificent scenery and sunsets around the farm. Big room, with kitchenette, terrace and bathroom. Breakfast included with product that were made on the farm itself (cheese, marmallade, ..) and you're able to have a very decent lunch and dinner in their restaurant. Friendly staff. No five stars due minor details: no towel in the kitchen, no cutlery, no wifi anywhere available for guests, .. . But highly reccomendable for couples and families. You can also visit the farm if you like!

What a wonderful lunch and tour through Arianna and Friends. The property is beautiful and it made us want to come back and just relax here for a week. Their resident animals are beautiful, their food is all homemade from what they raise and grow, and their bio pecorino making facilities are top notch. We tasted several cheeses and meats they made and all were completely delicious. Would be great for lunch or a day tour. We can't speak to the overnight facilities but from the outside they looked beautiful and the grounds are extremely well kept. Staff was very nice.
