Bislig is a third-class city, so do not expect too much by way of offerings for business and tourist travels. A group of us from work took the 6 hour trip overland from Davao City to visit Tinuy-an Falls and Enchanted River in nearby Hinatuan municipality, but the road was in pretty good condition and the scenery along the way is very beautiful, so it made up for the cramps from sitting in the car the whole time. (We stopped for a bit in San Franz, Agusan del Sur, which has a Jollibee branch - it opens at 7am).
Casa de Babano is a very simple pension house, offering fan rooms for as cheap as 200 pesos. We got 2 twin sharing rooms and a triple sharing room (both with A/C, en suite toilet/bath, cable) @ 900 pesos each and a matrimonial room @ 700 pesos each (A/C, en suite toilet/bath, cable). Room 106 is pretty decent, and the toilet is very clean. Room 102 (triple sharing) though has poor lighting, a dirty bathroom, and a leaky sink. All rooms have LOTS of mosquitoes, so make sure you ask the front desk to spray with or better, get the spray and do it yourself.
The lobby has WIFI.
The pension house has a restaurant, which serves a very simple breakfast. They allowed us to eat our packed food though, which is quite gracious of them. They also have a buffet dinner which at 99 pesos per head is not quite bad (they have selections of fish, beef, chicken and vegetable dishes, soup and seasonal fruits). They also have a bar for nighttime drinks, but like the pension house, it's pretty simple (like a big living room with sofas and a bar).
There are few other pension houses around, but I would assume that the amenities it will offer will be the same as this pension house.
