Lovely small village. Less touristy we found than others, not as many shops...which is not a bad thing! We walked by an alley where they were actually making wine from their shop. Definitely a must see village on the route de vins.

Perfect place to walk around this beautiful village. There are quiet few of similar villages in Alsace. Eguisheim Is probably most beautiful.
We went to see a few of the beautiful villages in the Colmar area and this one is the best! I went around with a smile on my face expecting Beauty and the Beast or Mrs Pots to come dancing down the street! You walk around in circles literally so you can't get lost. Really magical place!
This is such a pretty place to go, walk around the streets, stop at the little shops and wander the pretty alleyways with the cute little houses, the storks and the architecture. It does get busy as it is a popular tourist destination, but is a must visit if you are in the area
Don't miss this village. It is strikingly beautiful with is freshly painted, beamed houses and flowers everywhere. It was a peaceful and joyfull experience to walk the streets and absorb the tranquility and history.
If you are anywhere near Colmar you must visit the village of Eguisheim. Really nice but be prepared to have comfortable shoes on as you will walk on cobbled streets all around this old village with its picturesque setting. So glad we visited it.
