We really enjoy this family run restaurant. Few tables and very good products made an excellent lunch! Foie gras & pigeon choice were delicious! We will come back!

Although well-presented, the meals seemed to lack the balance of flavour that one might expect from a Michelin-rated restaurant. At times the flavours seemed so subtle they could be mistaken for bland. The langoustine entree was very fresh and perfectly cooked...almost carpaccio, but there could have been more of it.
Considering the prices charged I do not feel we had the experience promised, although I would not rule out a further visit in the future.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here recently. The food and service were excellent. Standouts for us were the langoustine entree, the pigeon, and the really unusual and quite amazing Macaron à l’olive noire for desert.

In my opinion this place is not worthy of its Michelin star. The food was good - but not great - but what really let it down was the service. You expect the staff in a restaurant of this calibre to be attentive, to anticipate, to show passion and pride in the food and wine they are serving. We saw none of this at le Grand Bleu. Our welcome was lacklustre. We were shown to our table, given menus and then had to wait some 10 minutes before being offered so much as a drink. Our carafe of water was warm and when we asked for a cold one we were told there were no cold carafes of water, only cold bottled water, and were then reluctantly offered some ice. The 'sommelier', if that's what she was, was unfriendly and inattentive - we had to ask to have our wine glasses refilled and in the end resorted to pouring our own wine. We had to ask for new glasses for our red wine. We were not offered a dessert wine but had to ask for it. The explanations about our dishes were accurate but completely lacking enthusiasm. Nobody bothered to ask if we had enjoyed our courses. The food was good - an excellent langoustine starter, very good ris de veau main course, the other main course of tuna was fine but the accompanying salad was over vinegared. Desserts were fine but nothing really shone. Perhaps by the time the desserts arrived our appetites had been soured by the poor service. Although there was one couple at the restaurant who were very complimentary about their meal, there were at least two others who were not happy - we spoke to them as they were leaving. A meal at a Michelin starred restaurant should be an exciting and pleasurable experience and should make you feel a little bit special. This just made me feel cross!

We have been twice in the last few weeks for the Bistro Lunch (25E for 3 courses, glass of wine, coffee, etc - no choice with menu) and it was great. Lovely service, good air conditioning (essential today as we are in the middle of a heat wave), and lovely food and wine. We will be repeat visitors during summer. The Bistro lunch is offered Thursday Friday and Saturday. Of course, they have the other more expensive menus as well which we haven't tried yet.
