Le Temps de Vivre hotel is a beautiful, very modern hotel, housed in an exquisite 16th century building right at the edge of the sea. Everything the hotel advertised on its website was accurate and when we entered the sea view room we had booked, it was exactly as shown on the hotel’s web site, a gorgeous panoramic view of the sea.

The staff of Le Temps de Vivre is outstanding. I must mention both David and Lucy as just terrific as they were the two staff members we had the most interaction with, but really the entire staff was wonderful. Breakfast, which was delicious, was served in a very lovely room which doubled later on as a cozy bar (for guests only), but at no extra charge breakfast or drinks could be served in your room. We often had drinks in our room because the view there was so lovely.

Roscoff, the town in Brittany in which Le Temps de Vivre is located, is a beautiful and interesting place to visit and one can’t do better than to stay at Le Temps de Vivre. I know we will return.

Room tip: We loved the sea view room. It gave a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and was also extremely private

Such a lovely hotel right in the heart of Roscoff. Very well looked after Hotel with a lot of attention to detail. Every need was met. The Breakfast was excellent and very French. Absolutely Superb! The Bedroom and en suite was very well appointed. My only want would be that the TV needs raising a little but a very minor point. I love the way that the owners have decorated the building to incorporate the modern needs but have not compromised the traditional old building and rather enhanced it.
A joy to stay in this superb hotel!

This ancient house has been carefully restored to create all that today's guests demand. Set on the town square by the church, but over looking the wonderful Roscoff coastline, sea view rooms are quite expensive but must be stunning. Our room overlooked the church, beautifully peaceful and well furnished with a very comfy bed. The style is cutting edge contemporary from the bathrooms to the crockery, all fitting gracefully in to this beautiful historic building.
A delicious breakfast was served in the lounge/ breakfast room. Lovely breads, preserves, ham and cheese and as much coffee as you wanted. In the evenings a lovely log fire burned in the great fireplace, a delightful place to linger over a nightcap.
All Roscovites are very friendly and the folk of the hotel were extremely welcoming. We had travelled overnight on the Brittany Ferries, Pont Avon, and dropped our bags off at the hotel before setting off for our first day. A breakfast on that early morning would have been most welcome, but perhaps this is not manageable.
This is our second long weekend visit to Roscoff, there are many lovely restaurants , fantastic walking , stunning coastal views. We will return!

This hotel is a credit to the owners and staff making the best use of a very old building, we travel a lot and find big corporate rooms a complete bore. The attention to detail was very inventive bearing in mind 16th century builders weren't thinking of kindle storage and where to hang the TV. The breakfast room is very small and so a challenge to the hotel, which was more than made up for by the excellent personal service achieved by the hotel staff, wonderful selection of breads, coffee etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an informal relaxing and unfussy place to stay.

We stayed here in September for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel very welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight great coffee (I am fussy) croissant, cheese, meats and "exotic soup"and yogurt. We will very much look forward to our next visit.
