I was treated to a night here with my partner, for my birthday, we stayed in a very spacious comfortable room with everything you could need. Good sized bathroom.
Friendly barman, had a few drinks in a very well decorated lounge where we spent the evening talking and laughing with each other.
In the morning we came for breakfast and had a good variety of choices, from cooked breakfast to cereals and juices.
Would happily stay again.

Lovely Hotel but not the best nights sleep due to really high tog duvet !very warm.
Also not helped by 2 very loud unsupervised children in next room until late
The staff were all very pleasant and the receptionists lovely
Loved the food had dinner and breakfast great setting very close to Holt and would return

I booked Christmas lunch in the restaurant which, at the time, didn't have prices and menu sorted. I left all my contact details and eventually received a call when I was on a long-haul flight that I returned 48 hours later. At the time, the restaurant had released my booking (despite waiting 8 weeks for them to contact me back with the menu/price) and couldn't reinstate it. They promised to get back to me re. the waiting list situation and I still haven't heard back - that was 6 weeks ago. Hardly surprising that hospitality is struggling when management is so incompetent, and practices so cut-throat and customer-unfriendly. I have been a loyal customer for years, booking friends to stay there and having special occasion lunch and diners in the restaurant, but I can no longer support such a poor and unfriendly business.
