Chose to eat here after reading reviews. We aged the only remaining unreserved table just before 7pm, so obviously popular. Short menu of tapas items. Everything we had was tasty, but nothing really outstanding. Wine was good. Desserts fine.

We came across this place by accident one sunny Sunday lunch time on a motorbike trip. It's to be found on a tiny island together with the capitainerie of Cap d'Agde. We stopped to enjoy some tapas with a view over the port.
Service was friendly and leisurely. I had the mussels brochette and chips, my partner had the scallop brochette. His was delicious, with prawns and big fat scallops. Mine came as breaded mussels with a breaded cube of cheese at the end which was unnecessary. It was okay, and went well with the garlic mayo. The chips were those curved ones and tasty enough.
We enjoyed sitting there on a sunny day looking at the boats and the sun on the water. Very pleasant it was.

Found this place by chance as it is the end of the road/quai. Lovely outdoor seating surrounded by boats. Menu was quite extensive. The appetisers were excellent. Funky touches included blackboard menu & slate serving plates.

We were strolling around the old port and stumbled across this restaurant by chance. After the hustle and bustle of the main port and numerous restaurant and loud music- this was an oasis of calm where you could hear the sea and relax.
We first though we would just have a drink as the out side is most unprepossessing , just like a bar/ cafe, however, once we saw the food coming out for others we asked for a menu.
They do a selection of about 10 tapas dishes, razor clams in garlic butter, meat balls in tomato, scallops and prawn brochettes, white bait, omelette , a potato dish, a ham dish, squid, spicy chicken wings etc, each at 5E ( each dish serves 2) all beautifully served on slates or funky dishes . The chips also available are the best ever! So crispy and homemade and are served with tomato mayo. There is also a set menu, either 2 or 3 courses for a set price, 2 dishes was about 13.50 I think and you can mix and match all the starters and man courses . There was scallop Mille fuille , tuna tartar starters all beautifully presented and would not be out of place in a top restaurant never mind a stand alone place at the end of a quite quay! The cafe gourmand dessert with a shot of espresso in a glass plus 4 other mini desserts was really good and everyone had it after seeing others eat it. The waitress was charming and the service was relaxed which is what we wanted. The restaurant is right on the water and we all had fun watching a boat in front of the tables getting ready to set sail. A perfect afternoon, unexpectedly quality food and presentation. Access is all on one level with a disabled toilet up a slope into the main restaurant . There is plenty of parking the other side of the port, and disabled bays available and you can get a wheel chair right round the port easily.
