4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2012 via mobile

This was the most expensive hotel of our trip and will survive on its location irrespective of these reviews. I liked it and you won't be disappointed. Restaurant was a bit stuffy and service slow, WiFi not us good as others but overall very nice. We ate breakfast across the road at the supermarket as €10 here.

Staff very friendly. Comfortable clean room. Had a nice fish dinner in restaurant. Peaceful town; nice getaway from busy Paris. Beautiful views from back of the hotel. My room faced the front of the hotel but it is still quiet. Hotel is close to supermarket to grab a snack or a beer. Good breakfast at hotel. Bus service to train station very good. I would reccomend hotel.

Didn't stay at hotel. We parked our car momentarily, just to have a quick lunch before going to the Mount. What a surprise! Lovely resto with tablecloths, roomy tables, stylish interior, WCs are large and on ground floor. Quick and busy waiters (a bit tricky to get their attention) who spoke some English, and offered excellent fixed menus of varying selections and prices. For under 20 Euros, I had the mussels, pig's cheek (surprisingly delish!) and mango mousse. Kid's menu available too. The whole family was satisfied. It was not a quick lunch. A great start before your walk to the Mount. Would recommend!

This is a very nice hotel with large, well-appointed rooms and a very good restaurant. It is as close as one can get to Mont St. Michel without actually staying on site (at great expense). It is within walking distance of the historic island and is located right at the beginning of the causeway leading to Mont St. Michel. Our room had an enormous bathroom with two sinks and a large tub and shower. Best room we stayed in during our entire vacation. Plus free parking. Great breakfast.

We stayed in a family room, the rom was very nice and beds comfortable, Dinner was very good, but breakfast very disappointing, very little choice, and no way of cooking eggs as the water was not boiling.
But after a "discussion" with the receptionist we were not charged for two of the three breakfasts

Stayed there a night on our trip to Mt. St. Michel. Rooms were clean and rather modern, staff was friendly and helpful. The free WiFi was a bit unreliable and slow but ok to check mails. Breakfast buffet was nicely filled and also had fruits, cheese, eggs and some sliced sausages. Dinner in the restaurant was good. There's no elevator, which might be a problem for some.

In a small town like Mont Saint-Michel, you can't really expect too much. The hotel is in a good location and is one of the first ones from the causeway. The decor is quite old fashioned, despite the fact that the bathroom was recently renovated. Many review said they can see le Mont from the balcony, but since the balconies are located perpendicular to the Mont, you can only see a small view of it if you bend your body all the way out.

Only hair & shower gel, bar soap, cotton swabs and plastic cups were provided in the bathroom, so bring your own shower cap, tooth brush, tooth paste and slippers if you need them.

Though the hotel was so-so, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Oh, there doesn't seem to be an air condition or vent in the room. May get very hot in the summer. You only have the balcony door for fresh air... but you don't really want to open it because their are lits of mosquitos.
