This cathedral is huge but the proportions are so harmonious that it doens't really look that big There is a lot of light inside given that the original glass is gone. A guided tour adds quite a bit of value, not least because the 3000 or so statues adorning the building are hard to interpret.

One of the most impressive cathedrals, very old building and incredible floor. It is the tallest cathedral in France that has been completed. The light show in the evening is a real attraction. Color and sound behave to the building and provide an unique atmosphere.

Amazing that a structure as big as this survived the shelling during two wars. Incredible scale and impressive building with many references to the WWI conflict and destruction of regional churches.
