We visited several times during our stay in Provence. Pizza is great. Three course meal options are wonderful. Make a reservation or get there early. More often than not she puts the "Complete" sign in the window as the place fills up. Pasta very good, fish done beautifully, steak with pepper sauce to die for and yummy desserts.

We stopped at the edge of Fontveille with the hopes of finding somewhere to have lunch.
It was rather late for lunch but we stumbled upon this small restaurant on a side street. The staff member that greeted us said that she would ask the cook if he would extend the lunchtime for us - he said yes. We enjoyed some wonderful pizza in this quaint setting. Worth the stop if you are hungry as the servings are large.

We stayed in Fontvieille for a week in March '17 and walked past this restaurant on several evenings when it was packed, so it is clearly popular, as seen by other reviews. When one evening, we saw it was much quieter, we grabbed the chance to try it for ourselves.
It had a welcoming, cosy feel with friendly service. We ordered soup and different mains from the specials. All portions were a good size and eatable, but they just weren't as tasty/enjoyable as other meals in Fontvieille - our food here seemed like ordinary 'pub grub' in comparison. We don't seek out gourmet dining and we relish family-run restaurants, so perhaps we just chose the wrong dishes or evening to eat here.

We were recommended to be there by another tourist couple, still got a big surprised dinner: Very tasty green salad, which can't find in other place, the best beef stew, and, believe or not, a hot Tiramisu(love it) !
If you have no time to make a reservation ahead, must be there at 7pm sharp for a dinner, otherwise you probably won't make it.

This little gem of a restaurant snuggled in a small village was a delight. I had a pizza and my husband had a salmon appetiser followed by 'confit de canard'. Fresh produce, an amazingly light and crunchy pizza crust, and a small carafe of red wine. We were truly satisfied by the comfort of both the food and the atmosphere on this rainy day in Autumn.
