We stayed a week for ski in March 2018. We found the apartment full of dust. it seems nobody cleaned it seriously for many weeks. Sofas were not moved and towels racks never been cleaned.
The maintenance is minimal: Bath handle doesn't work, lamps are so ols that some hardly give any light as they are very old.

The water temperature when you shower is changing non-stop and the tap is old, so it seems that the stream control can never be achieved.

The kitchen is well equipped and you can make meals very easily.

Although the property claims it has free wi-fi - the connection didn't work at all in our apartment. The only wi-fi we could get is near the reception and it is so slow, that uploading 5 MB photos takes 3-5 minutes!

The locker room for the ski room is on the back side of the hotel, so our children who were beginners, had to carry the equipment through few elevators and narrow stairs to arrive to the ski school.

The heating in the rooms works well, but the reception area is freezing.

This hotel needs a major renovations to bring to normal standards.

This hotel is well positioned however that is the only positive. Over priced would be a understatement a 3 star accommodation charging 4 star room rates.. The resort is wonderful and well worth a visit but unless you get a deal the Cheval Blanc is too expensive

Room Tip: Don't stay here...

Location was excellent with stunning views from balcony. It was warm & had a plentiful supply of hot water. Bed linen & towels were clean but everything else was tired & dirty. We 4 adults & a 2 year old shared this 6/8 person accommodation. 2 upstairs bedrooms , one leading off the other, were accessed by a very steep spiral stairway & had no toilet upstairs. The toilet opened straight onto the kitchen area which only allowed one person in at a time. The dishwasher did not wash properly, the oven was filthy, the wall mounted television stuck out dangerously into the narrow part of the dining area at shoulder height, the only seating apart from dining chairs was the hard lounge sofa bed. We left the apartment far cleaner than when we arrived despite a broken vacuum & no supplied cleaning products. The steep access to the slopes via the ski room was never cleared of compacted snow/ice & was hazardous. This was more like staying in an inferior youth hostel.

The room which was supposed to be for three people was in fact the size of a one-person studio: one room with just enough space for two beds squeezed next to each other and the third person had to sleep on the couch.
The sheets were dirty when we arrived, the place was noisy, the ski room doesn't have enough space for everybody's skis, and the wifi doesn't work.
In short, a terrible choice of accommodation. I recommend you pay 50 extra euros a night to get a decent place.
