We loved Big White. The amount of different activities offered means no one is at a loss for something to do, or if you just want to relax than that's very easy to do at Big White.
A suggestion is to try and arrive before dark, or first trip up the mountain was dark and foggy. Since we didn't know the road, it was a slow trip up. Snow tires are a must for this road. We stayed at Grizzly Lodge and the condo was excellent and close to the main lodge. Only one small complaint was the hot tub could have been hotter. All in all excellent place for a ski trip, we'll go back.

I wanted to write a review on the ski/snowboarding school as it was fantastic. The instructors were so positive and fun. I was going on the chair lift after 2 lessons. If you get Jamie as your snowboard instructor you will have the best day ever.

This is the Third year I have come to opening weekend at the Hill . I come to enjoy the Big White Car Rally but also ski and relax in comfortable accommodation . This year I am spending 7 days on the hill to see that I have the time to take it all in . Most everything is within walking distance and it is know for its ski out quality . The restaurants are top shelf , especially the Blarney Stone and the employees are a very international bunch and so enjoying being here . I can not think of a negative comment about the hill ..
