This hotel is perfect in every way, location, cleanliness and service. We arrived later than expected due to a train delay but it was all super straightforward to check in at the sister hotel two doors down. Great service from the guy who helped us there also.

The room was great, spacious, clean and a super comfy bed, much needed after a long journey. The location is perfect, a one minute walk across from the station and Central to restaurants of konstanz.

The person on reception when we left was really helpful too, all in all would definitely recommend staying here. A great night's sleep with great service.

My husband and I did a bike tour around Lake Konstanz and stayed at this and other hotels that were arranged by the bike tour company. This is a historical building, across from the train station and near the big pedestrian only shopping area. The building is stark, cement floors and dark furniture, though very clean and modern. The breakfast is very good. Despite the positive points, I would never want to stay there again. One receptionist we had to deal with at the start and end of our bike tour was unfriendly, had a frown on and did little to help us. The simple act of smiling at guests when they arrive can be a game changer in making guests feel welcomed and secure that they can get the information they need. Others behind the reception desk were young, inexperienced and seemed like they just arrived at their job and could not provide us with information we needed.

Beautifully refurbished hotel right in the centre of town and only a couple of hundred metres from the lake and landing stages. You just step out of the back door and you are in the plaza for shops and restaurants. Bahnhof is close but not disruptive
