The receptionist was rather cold and snobby. Though we booked in advance a bedroom of two; we were served a studio with a small kitchen.The bedroom was upstairs a reachable by a winding and narrow stairway. Be carefull if you must go often to the bathroom at night!
The International breakfast was very correct. All meals are served in the separate Restaurant next door to the hotel and managed separatly. Neither Hotel or Restaurant has a Terrace.
Though we had meals included in the hotelprices. We were obliged to share the table with some other unknown couple. This is a NO-GO for all you couples, who wishes to have a table for two. The menu-card was only for outside guests. The chef de cuisine gave his best in preparing appetizing specialties for his guests.
We apreciated the free Wifi, free bikes and the free transportation-cards of Oberstaufen and it's surrounding. Beside two Saunas,and the Wellness offered in the package, personels was not to be seen in the hotel and the pool is half the size as shown on the picture.
Though hotel prices were attractive, it is definetly a perfect hotel for the >60s and for guests without big expectations and looking for a hotel near the center of the town!More
