Our I night here was perfect for maximum sightseeing in Goslar. The hotel has nice facilities. Not all rooms are created equal as the building dates to 1494. Our room, 239 was spacious, modern and had a queen bed. Great breakfast and fast free wifi. Off street parking is available for 8 Euro.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms, 239

A very nice place to stay, Goslar is a lovely town with this hotel nicely situated on the square. Although some of the group of 16, including myself, had a room in the sister hotel, we had our meals here in the Kaiserworth. Nice choice at breakfast and taken outside if warm enough. In the evening the food was wonderfully fresh, and if still hungry there were seconds available for the main course.
One disappointment was that apparently we should have been able to park our motorcycles in the secure garage, instead we were directed to park all our bikes at the rear of the sister hotel, Hotel Brusttuch, where there was building work and scaffolding. When the scaffolding was removed leaving a mess of dust and nails scattered around the road surface we had to collect and dispose of many nails.
Never the less we enjoyed our stay, our rooms in the sister hotel 100 mtrs away, were pleasant and clean enough to look forward to after a day out. Although some of my fellow travellers did complain about the lack of water pressure when having a shower, must say mine was fine. The Brusttuch is undergoing modernisation and will look very nice when finished judging by the top levels at the moment, but inside there is no sign of any disruption for the guests. Overall a very pleasant stay, even with the church bells!! I will certainly recommend this stopover to friends if they were looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Room Tip: A room to the rear, those church bells.....but then again they are part of this fabulous towns history

Kaiserworth general in ok condition, full-carpet floor might trigger some allergic reaction with some (we had some mild reaction after two days/nights).
Generally not too recommendable for people with walking handicaps, although there is a lift.

Bathroom in room 138 tricky as using the shower requires "climbing" one step up (problematic when ie. artificial hip).

Had a 2-nights package and it was worth the money. Excellent breakfast, wide variety of everything.

Room Tip: Room 108 only single bedroom facing market square, imho not worth extra cost. Bathroom VERY small.

The very good location is what secures the rating for this hotel. We got a relatively small room with one small window. The beds are average, the television very small, the remote control did not work. The free wifi was not working in the room, nothing happened even though we complained. The breakfast was ok, but nothing spectacular, the coffee undrinkable, cappuccino costs extra.
