I went with 3 wine friend in late May.
Zeltinger-Hof is an outstandig hotel with the most sympathetic and friendly staff. I cant remember the last time I felt so welcome
at a hotel. I was everybody and so consistent - an amazing experience.
We really enjoyed the food, especially the Wein-wand dinner. The breakfast is seriously one of the best I have had. Lots of quality products like ham, cheese, eggs and omelets. Also be aware this hotel has the largest wine list in entire Mosel (I think), say some 150 open wines and a lot more in bottles. Markus the owner - who actually received his sommelier certificate when we were there - has a lot of knowledge about the local wines. He suggested and served us only great wines. Also he taught me a lot of thinks I did not know about Mosel, even though these are some of my favourite wines.
Perfect location close to many of the most famous wine yards. Rent bicycles just next door. And a must do is to take the Bulli-tour with Markus - just magnificent.
I cant wait to go back and sit on Makus Platz with a nice glass of riesling.
Thanks for everything Markus

Room tip: Doubles across the street were very nice

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The hospitality is above and beyond most five-star hotels I've stayed at. Comfortable room and bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Nice small touches throughout our stay that showed how the staff truly cares about making the stay comfortable for us. We ate at the restaurant every night for dinner and there was always something great to discover. Large wine list with over 150 wines available by the glass. We loved our stay and plan on only returning here for future visits

We were upgraded to suite in one of the houses belonging to the hotel. Room was quiet, all okay, what is expected from 3 star hotel. Restaurant is very wine oriented and heaven for wine lovers. Incredible nr of wines by the glass and great wine selection in bottles. Extremely friendly and personal service. Actually 5 star for service. Breakfast very nice with good selections of egg preparations and cut meats. Again, service was stellar and hotel, nice. Close to 5

A warm welcome set the tone for a lovely stay for us two weary bike riders, after all the last stretch to the hotel was a little uphill. We had a newly renovated and spacious room in the adjacent guest house. Super shower. Best breakfast buffet of the whole trip. dinner was excellent, too, and the wine selection just impressive

This hotel is a charming place, well located near the centre of town. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and we loved the hearty breakfast. It is located near restaurants but the hotel restaurant is a good choice.

Room tip: Small hotel where all the rooms are quiet enough.
