Place is quite ok, unfortunately only partly refurbished (still seems to have the same carpets like 15 years ago) and some more light in the room would be great - i cannot judge the food as long i went dining outside

A bussiness hotel located in the city centre. It was closed to our bussiness place. It just a walk away from stores and restaurants. Great staffs and cleaning services. Breakfast okay. But they does not have swimming pool. Simple and quite minimalist hotel.

I've stayed here many times over the last year (maybe 20-25% of the time between Oct 2015 and Oct 2016). Better location than the other Fortuna hotel. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The gym is very nice with adequate equipment to serve its purpose and is usually empty in the evening.
Easy walk to the many things to do and see in central Ruetlingen.
Beds are the same as other hotels that I've stayed at in the area. Ask for additional pillows and they will arrive promptly.
Room service is fast and decent, with many nearby restaurants within walking distance.
Some rooms have better/newer bathrooms than others but all have small-ish showers.
If you are staying there during the "hotter" weeks of the year, get a room facing the busy street, since these rooms have air conditioning, so you can close the windows and still keep cool (it's plenty quiet with the windows closed). If you stay during the cooler or colder months, rooms facing the residential side is quieter if you want to keep your window open, but if you reside on a lower floor beware of Friday's and Saturday's, since there could be smokers/party people which hang out by the rear entrance and could be an annoyance.
Only 4 channels of English speaking channels, as is the case for other hotels, ... a couple BBC, French and Bloomberg stations.
Wifi is sketchy sometimes and so will need to be restarted several times if on a Netflix binge.

The hotel Fortuna is well located, with nice spacious rooms, clean and a very customer oriented staff. The dining facilities and buffet are a great addition to the hotel services and a secured underground parking makes the hotel a must use.

The City Hotel Fortuna, within walking distance of the center of Reutlingen, had all the needed amenities and a tasty breakfast buffet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only downsides were the location on a busy street and the lack of an extra pillow. I would definitely stay again.
