During our holiday in Bavaria we had not yet tasted the Bavarian specialty Obazda, and so the Schwangauer Käse Alm seemed like a good place, and it was. We could sit outside and enjoy our meal and the sunshine (September). The selection of cheeses in the shop are also very good.

If you have Luurve Cheese then you will most definitely not be disappointed. We stopped off here on cycle back from Fussen on two occasions, as we were fortunate to be enjoying very hot weather to walk into shop we were struck by the intense coolness and aromas. Chose of cheese is amazing so asked for some samples alas didn't come free but worth it.. The outside seating was spoiled by pesky flies not just a few but a lot . Milk is on tap saw a few people getting large glasses, not a milk lover so stuck to a good coffee and cheese followed by torte yummy! Well worth a visit two delightful helpful women who speak English. Great show of Antique cow bells on display pity not for sale would have seized the chance

Very nice cheese shop with possibility to eat inside. We had some Bavarian snacks including cheeses, salami, butter, cheese spreads etc. with bread and everything was very tasty. We would love to try some of their cakes, which looked delicious, but we were unfortunately completely full. Maybe next time. Recommended!

On our way back to Fussen from visiting Neuschwanstein castle, My husband and I and traveling companions happened upon good fortune when we had lunch and dessert in this local cheese shop. We had sliced cheese and fresh homemade bread sandwiches with pie and cake. The best Landjager ever! The ladies behind the counter were cheerful and friendly and enjoyed having us foreigners in their shop.
