Stopped off here for what we thought might be a light lunch. Ordered pulled pork, fries and the house coleslaw. Change of plan! Big lunch! Food served in 3 separate bowls on a large plate: not the cheapest place but great food, washed down with the local wine and beer. To repeat what a leaving German said, "Big value for a big plate, they don't always get filled in some restaurants." Pasta dishes also looked good value.

Plenty of high chairs for children and a small area with toys. Very good schnitzel and great beer from own brewery.

had dinner here a while ago when visiting the OGP on the Nürburgring. There was quite a choice but as the temperature was quite hot I chose for a large salad with "pfifferlingen" - a kind of mushrooms which were nicely fried and spread all over the salad in an abundant manner. To join the food I chose a nice icecold Pilsener beer from their own brewery which went well with the dish. The whole beergarten was filled with people but the service was still OK and fairly rapid. The place is centrally located, unpretentious and relaxed.

Had good food, local beer and wines at decent prices. I ordered a shrimp in garlic and chili oil starter as a mains and the bread that came with it was really one of the best breads I have ever eaten. The local beer is also good and they even had a dark variation. Service was good. The waiter patiently responded to my endless questions about the digestifs. They have their own home made digestif that you can't find anywhere else and it was really good.

Excellent good value food and very good local wines. The restaurant also has a microbrewery (I've had the beers on a previous trip and they're good).
