Don't let anyone fool you, telling you that this place gets very crowded. It's only crowded for Italians! As many people as this place can pack in, it's not crowded by U.S. standards. It is small though. Not as many rides or pools as you might like, but the lines are relatively short, the water is super comfortable (I went in early July '15) and prices are very reasonable. The weather in southern Italy is great and you'll enjoy a beautiful, sunny, cloudless day in the hot, dry sun. There are lounge chairs all over for you to relax on if you've had enough of the water fun. As you enter, there's a picnic area with picnic benches. Italians come here early and prepared with picnic TRUNKS, not baskets, of food, and just plop their stuff down on a table and place their chairs upside down on the tables. Let's call this their version of "first come-first served" lunch reservations. Then they enter the park not worrying at all that anyone will take or mess with their stuff. It's GREAT! The park rides close down for an hour during lunchtime, which is quite normal everywhere in Italy. Go and Enjoy!
