Stayed 2 nights at the hotel last week. Though it has a wonder view facing a gorgeous lake and mountains, everything else is poor.

Quality of food

- Dinner was terrible. Some shredded veggies they called salad. Main course was hard pasta with fish. served with canned mushroom sauce. Bread was served without any soup/butter/jam
- Breakfast was terrible. Stirred fried pasta(same pasta type from dinner) with soya sauce. Oily veggies. Frozen peas. Stir fried canned mushroom (same mushroom for dinner)etc....It was the same 2 days i stayed in.
- Be prepared to fight for your breakfast with groups of tourist from certain country.Bring your own butter if you need it. All in all, cereals are the best food they offered for breakfast.

Room amenities

-Certainly not even 3 stars standard.
- The bed was very hard. Bed sheets are thin as paper, rough as sand. you can feel every fabric fiber irritating your skin.
-Blanket was fraying and torn
- Wall paper is peeling off
-Dirty carpet
- TV is not working
In summary, it feels and looks like a boarding house or motel at best instead of a hotel

Cleanliness

-Generally ok but used tissue papers can be seen at plants pots. Unused signages can be seen on the floor around the hotel.

Overall feel
It seems the hotel caters its food taste and equipped its staff to attract tourists from a certain country from the east. While enjoying the lake view, you can hear these tourists talking loudly to one another from one balcony to the other. Even the Hotel signboard by the road is so run down that has missing alphabets - an ominous sign of poor standards.

This is definitely not a hotel to stay if you are looking for a Swiss-feel stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room that face the lake. It is the only solace you can get while staying in the hotel

We stayed for 2 nights and we slightly concerned when the reception staff were wearing T-shirts and jeans. The hotel appeared to be empty, but the room was very good. It was very clean and has the most beautiful views and a balcony. We went to explore and found another couple looking around! The next day 2 coaches arrived in the evening and lots of people arrived, but they were gone by 9am the next day. The staff were very friendly and the decor is very 80's. The breakfast was very good. Great holiday for views and peace and quiet!

We stayed here for 1 night and had a room with balcony facing the gorgeous lake and mountains. It was so peaceful and quiet that one is able to relax. This hotel had it's own private jetty that extend out to the lake, in which i saw guests went for morning dip. We drove in Switzerland so was offered free car parking which was great. Breakfast was good with delicious baked goods and a good variety of cheese and cereals. Staff was very friendly at the front desk and we were grateful that they gave us a couple of hours for a late check out because we arrived very late at night and had little time to enjoy the facilities, this shows their flexibility and good services. Wifi was strong too. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travellers who are driving. You will love it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with balcony and lake view.

We had a reservation at the Hotel Friedheim for a room with lake and mountain view, when we arrived they offered us a room with a view of their building site - an offer we rejected. Graziella was the first place we tried for a replacement and they found us a room with a stunning view and provided us with a decent dinner in their restaurant and a good breakfast next morning. The receptionist was a fount of knowledge about trips to take the next day and we had a good morning using cable car, mountain railway and a walk by the lake. It cost us more than the Friedheim but it was short notice, and the view was better! We would go back.

Room Tip: lake view is a must

After a business related stay, I returned for a vacation weekend. In short: The location of the Graziella is exceptional and the view from the rooms simply spectacular. The hotel is ideal to experience the "Swiss Riviera" at Vierwaldstätter See. We booked through the internet and received a room on top floor. Almost all rooms directly face the lake and the mountains. The rooms are literally directly next to the shore. Compared to the luxurious other top hotels in Weggis the view from the Graziella rooms seems to be the top one (it is closest to the shore and at the very end of Weggis enjoyably quiete). The room interior is standard/average, but with this view and the balcony: you do not look at the room, but outside. The mountains and the lake are also comfortably viewable from the bed. The wellness area is ok, but not "top of the line" and in need of a facelift. The breakfast is served in a room with view to the lake (and some outside seating if desired). The breakfast is included and is clearly above average in Switzerland. We did not test any "spa" offerings. A positive mentioning on the private (but rather small) beach just across the hotel - it invites to lake swimming or sun bathing at any time. Overall, the hotel seems a little "on the old side", but its location, friendlyness and view make a great vacation destination. Lucerne is just a 20 minutes car drive away - therefore we highly recommend the Graziella also for visitors mainly visiting the city. The Graziella offers a relaxing and peaceful location with exceptional views at a reasonable price. Parking is free.
