We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Lickpenny with our 3 boys and 2 dogs, we loved every minute. We stayed on the deluxe pitch, lots of space and fantastic views.
Great play park for the kids and lovely dog walking area for the dogs. The shower and wash facilities were brilliant and very clean with the added bonus of a child's bathroom complete with bath which the boys loved! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again!

We visited this site several times last year having purchased our first caravan.

It has certainly set the standard for our expectations on what we want in a site going forward!

We stayed August, September and again at New Years so pretty much at every busy period and can safely say that the service and standards do not differ at any stage.

The staff on the front desk are always friendly, helpful and professional.

The standard and size of pitches excellent and private. For added luxury, fully serviced, go for the pitches on the horseshoe although these get booked up pretty quickly. The views from here are pretty amazing.

The whole site is meticulously managed and maintained and that goes for the shower blocks which are always very clean.

We have three dogs and find the two walk areas are more than adequate for our needs.

Easy driving distance from attractions and shops.

Perfect site and location.

We stayed for 6 nights on the site and loved it ,it was lovely and peaceful with nice clean facilities and friendly staff. There's lovely views across the open countryside if you get the right pitch and the onsite shop comes in very handy. The only gripe I have is that it's 12 o'clock departure and obviously after 12 for arrivals, but as I was hooking up to leave at 11.50,the next visitors to our pitch were already on site and waiting for us to leave. We will definitely stay here again

This is a short and sweet review just felt credit where credit due
What a lovely relaxing site this is booked 1 night to leave van there till following weekend but unfortunately had to leave after the 1 night due to work problems we will definitely go back though
The pitches are massive and really private we had a deluxe pitch with water and waste and a fantastic view woke up to hear the birds singing in the trees
The toilet/shower block is amazing so clean and lovely and warm a pleasure to take a shower which is a nice change!!
The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home and welcome
We took our dogs and there are 2 onsite dog walks one in the middle of the park which is lovely lots of trees and a path all around the outside then through the gate past the play park cross the road and there is a wood you can walk in with poo bins provided which was lovely again a nice path all the way around
Tansley car boot is around a 5 min walk on Sunday from 7am and worth £1 for a mooch round it's massive
Ask reception for a walk map if you fancy a good walk we did it on sat afternoon was around 7mile round trip if you go all the way to the pub!
