“What a lovely place to while away the hours”
Reviewed January 13, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Hoe Grange is a lovely, peaceful country farm in the centre of the southern Peak District. We were in Hipley - chosen for the dog friendly nature and the sleeping arrangements (we took my parents away for a break) and we couldn't have been happier; amazing views, comfortable and cosy, everything you could possibly need and a very warm welcome. The owners David and Felicity have struck the perfect balance of being available when you need them but not being at all intrusive so you don't feel there is anyone else around. Just go and enjoy!

“Great week in Derbyshire Dales”
Reviewed July 25, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Excellent week had by all- mum+dad (40+), 14 year old son who is a powerchair user and 12 year old son too.
Only had to bring one car as we booked (for free) a toilet/ showerchair and the mobile hoist.
Superb location for local towns and attractions (we did the High Peak Trail, Chatsworth House, Carsington Water, Bakewell, Buxton Museum and Brassington) as well as on-site lazy days!
Very warm welcome received, all the lodge's workings explained, fresh food welcome pack, well equipped- whirlpool bath a luxury bonus for us parents as only have shower rooms at home!
Wetroom a great size for our sons needs and level thresholds so he just wheeled about as he pleased.
We enjoyed visits from Crunchie and Fudge, the farm Labradors, and fed the chickens.
Heartily recommend purchasing farm sausages and eggs (hen and duck) for breakfasts!
Onsite washing machine and tumble dryer a great free facility too.
The site is quite steep and you have to remember it is a working farm so there's not spare fields for games/sports but my husband and son managed to throw/catch our american football and the decked area around the lodge, with table and chairs, provided a great outdoor opportunity to sit, chill and watch the farm animals.

“We have just enjoyed a most comfortable, well equipped lodge holiday with superb disabled facilities”
Reviewed May 19, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The lambs are great entertainment at this time of year and we loved the calf being hand-reared.
David kindly baked his bread throughout the week after we had sampled it on our arrival.
They also managed to arrange for the daily papers to be delivered.
It seemed nothing was too much trouble for them.
