We made a reservation for 18 people, as part of a two-day weekend excursion. Unfortunately, another family of about 20 was having their annual - funeral style - lunch in the same room. I should have communicated to the restaurant that we were not planning to stay all afternoon at the table. From one to five. Which for annual family lunches is quite normal and even a tradition, but far too long for us considering the programme we had in mind.
I should have known this in advance, and I don't blame this family-run business for it. It is even the only thing I could find in terms of negative remarks. Beautiful location, friendly (but slow) service, and excellent food (although I could have eaten more for the price). The interior decoration is not really my taste, but I suppose it is authentic and typical for the region.
All by all, nice experience, excellent price/quality ratio, to be recommended.
Just one tip for the owners: don't put the lobster tank so close to the restrooms. I am not saying it is not hygienical, I just have mental problems with this proximity. Must be some youth trauma of mine.
