Myself and my partner visited for an evening meal. We were welcomed by a warm waitress and seated straight away. We ordered our drinks and meals pretty quick too. The starter was nachos and they were presented well , but they were too cheesy. The mains came and our chips were extremely undercooked. By this point the poor waitress was on her own and it was getting very busy. She was rushing around from table to table with no help from anyone. We felt deeply sorry for her. She was doing the best she could, but the lack of assistance was frustrating to watch. At one point I felt like jumping up and helping her. Overall the food was ‘okay’ butI don’t think we would go Back due to the high-prices, the undercooked chips & the stress of watching that poor waitress.

Appalling service, we walked out before actually managing to be spoken to by staff. Staff ignored us totally, despite attempts to get served. There were 2 members of staff behind the bar. The bar was not busy, with only another couple ordering food, this order was taken before ours, even though they came in after us, we seemed to be invisible! The second bar staff also ignored us completely, we asked could we order food but she just kept walking past us, very rude indeed, if it's that hard to order the food, I dread to think what it would be like waiting for the food or what the quality would be like, hence, we gave up and left. Will not be going back!

For £9:95 I would have wanted a bigger piece and more chips, not value for money I'm a big guy, my nephew would of eaten more, staff fabulous and very helpful second and last time we will be coming which is a big shame as the walk to the pub is excellent x
