When my brother and his partner suggested checking out Marketta, I thought they meant Marcetta or something a lot more Italian sounding.

Anyway, having been to East Street Northshore, Marketta at Mount Gravatt is a smaller, more convenient version, that is easier to get to if you live out that way.

There were plenty of choices in cuisines. I had the pad see ew from the Thai Street Food stall $12. Decent and affordable.

Like East Street, and many other food courts, Marketta is great if you are with a larger group with people who have individual tastes and budgets.

You find food from each continent her, and youcan chose depending in your individual preference from Cubean food, Hungarian
langos etc to thai and Indian food. The price per meal is with in average 10-12 A$ very reasonable. The 2A$ entrance fee pays for the live music. Parking place are available. Though as it is a popular place it canbe difficult to find space for a bigger family.

This is a fantastic way to try different cuisines and cooking styles from around the world. Want to try Malaysian, Vietnamese, Cuban, American BBQ, Transylvanian, Hungarian and Pizza in a cone? You can try any or all of these here in the one place! Easy to get to and park and entry cost is $2 per person (kids are free) This is a great place for families and for a catch up with mates. The food was great.
I can’t wait to go back again!

Went to the markets early this morning with the family and a friend.
$2 entry per adult was a bit steep and there was very limited parking.
Otherwise plenty of different items to see and buy. A large variety of multicultural foods within the food court area.
The fresh fruit and vegetables were amazing! The quality was great and the prices were good. It was nice to support local farmers.
A great place for shopping or just for an activity to do on a Sunday morning.
