One of the best Alsatian restaurants in the area. All the classics are cooked to perfection, such as onion soup or pie, salade gourmande, mussels, etc... and above all tarte flambée (which you should definitely try also with cheese or as a dessert with apples and cinnamon), but there are some nice "international" additions to the menu such as the avocado-shrimps salad. The setting is great and you even have the choice whether you prefer the rustical all or the more "sophisticated" restaurant. The waiters are friendly and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Apart from the locals and Germans that live nearby, no one knows this village and it's hidden treasure: the best tartes flambées in the Alsace. An absolute must as far as I'm concerned. This restaurant is my second favorite in terms of the tartes flambées, but a bit cozier than the others.

We came at the recommendation of our friends. We had a reservation, which turned out to be a really good idea on a busy weekend evening. If you have not tasted tarte flambee/flammkuchen, this is the place to do it. It is not just another pizza, but a delicious dish with a taste of its own. Cozy rustic atmosphere with pleasant service.

This was one of the first places I tried Flammkuchen, and I've been returning to it for over 30 years now. As said the Flammkuchen is to be recommended, and the other dishes on the menu are also good. The decor is rustic, with woodbeams and antiques/hunting trophies on the walls.
Prices are ok, and our Scottie is a welcome guest.
