This was family vacation (2 adults and 2 children) for one splendid week in this hotel. The whole experience was great. The people working there are trying hard to make your holidays worth. Special praise for the restaurant manager, the lifeguard, the animation team and the cleaning ladies. The rooms are bit dated, but this is a small detail in the stay there. Our room was in the front row, about 25 m from the sea and the view was the best. The exterior of the hotel is well maintained and it gives impression of a beautiful garden. The location of the hotel is great if you want quiet neighborhood. In terms of amenities, you do not have to worry about anything. The all inclusive program is sufficient for every need one family has.

Room Tip: Front row bungalows are magnificient

My family and some friends are visiting this place for third time next summer. This is our finest accommodation so far - not the most luxury nor most exquisite - but still the best for us.
The rooms are cleaned daily and are tidy and cool even a bit modest in terms of furniture or drapery. Palms all over the place outside, pools for kids and adults, wet bar, bar next to the beach, enough chairs and umbrellas. Awesome sandy beach strip and very calm and clean sea. Children animators, sports (beach volley, tennis, table tennis), evening program, a nice bar working till quite late in the evening (for those that want to drink one or two after dinner) without troubling the ones that need rest as it is far enough from the sleeping rooms and noise is kept within reason.
Food is on a good level with not great variety, but just enough. Kind personnel. free parking, on premises mixed shop and kids playground.
Nearby are Nikiti and Nea Marmaras - beautiful little towns with their own charm.
It is a magical experience even if this is not luxury (three star hotel).

Room Tip: Rooms toward see have beautiful view; Rooms toward garden are a bit quieter.

Assa Maaris is a great hotel. I visited it with a friend and we had a great time, but I believe it's even better for families with kids since there are so many amenities for children. The pros of the hotel are numerous, but there are some cons as well. I will list the top things I believe can make you love or hate this gem hidden in the Sithonia forest. :)

1. Great location - it's away from noise and you can enjoy a good night sleep. If you're looking for parties though, you'll have to spend lots of time driving.
2. Perfect nature - the nature is wonderful, you have palm trees and flowers and everything is so nicely organised. I really enjoyed walking around, breathing fresh air and relaxing on my balcony.
3. Beach and sea - we were unlucky a bit and there were waves that kind of ruined the postcard image of a crystal clear sea. However, the beach was very clean and well organised. The water was amazing. You will definitely enjoy it.
4. Service - everyone was really nice from receptionist to waiters and managers. It was a real pleasure communicating to any employee of the hotel.

1. Rooms - just like everyone says, the rooms need to be refurbished. They are spacious and clean, but the furniture is old and that's visible.

1. Food - I personally liked the food because almost every dish included meat. However, my friend is more of a vegetable fan and there was a limited offer of such dishes aside from the standard salads. So it depends on personal preference I guess.
2. Wifi - the wifi coverage wasn't the best one. Sometimes it was impossible to load even a simple webpage, especially when you see all people after dinner on their phones and tablets. It can surely be annoying if you need Internet for work.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the pool and theater bar are quieter.

It was the first time we went for all inclusive in Greece. Anyway overall it was a good hotel, two flour villas, with a lot of green and flowers everywhere.
The food was more than good, every day different and very tasty.
It would be better that they organize more activities for children and grown up, for a 4 star hotel.
The price we pay was a bit expensive for services offered.
We had a bad experience due to the agency that brought us there. In order to have o good offer for us, the agency declared that we were two adults and two children under 12 years old, when in reality our son is over 12 years old and we knew nothing about it. As a result, the hotel forced us to pay the difference otherwise it would be the receptionist paying for it. Be aware when you collaborate with agencies. The receptionist, Maria, told us that this was not the first time to happen so.
The other annoying thing that happen, it was the time that we played tennis. After the game we took tennis racket back an three balls instead of four, one ball stuck at a palm tree. The receptionist said that we had to pay five euros for the ball. Of course I get the ball back but it sound very strange and inappropriate, for the amount of money we paid. In total, 1700 euro for 7 nights, to ask five euro for a tennis ball. One of the employees, told us that at the time they cut off palm leaves they find all the balls remained there, so it is nonsense to ask money for it. The staff was very kind and everything was clean and no smell.
The management group has to be very careful in collaborating with agencies not to happen unpleasant things such happened to us.

Room Tip: Rooms with sea and pool view offer a great view but are much more noisier, otherwise for much quiete...

This is a perfect place for a family vacation. The hotel grounds are beautifully structured, it is just big enough for all that you need. Everything is clean, flowers and grass well groomed, beautiful palms everywhere. Clean and safe beach, with sand and pebles, water shallow enough for the kids to play.
We stayed in a de luxe room, with a garden facing the beach, so we felt like we were in our own cottage on the beach. The room was spacious enough and clean, with comfortable beds.
Food was great. Not too much to chose from, but everything was always tasty, salads and fruits fresh, there was enough ice cream to feed an army and drinks always kept coming, served by smiling and professional waiting staff.
We loved it here and we would recommend this to families with kids who are looking for a comfortable and beautiful beach resort, with all you can eat package that comes at an affordable price.
We will certainly come next year!

As you go through the gates of this resort, you find yourself in a beautiful garden of palm trees that surrounds a nice pool with a good pool bar. Behind it is a great gravel beach with new sunbeds. The only problem is when you enter your room, the futniture is from the seventies, they have not been renovated and the TVs are poor.
On the other hand, the food is very tasty, you can always choose between 5 or 6 meals for lunch and dinner, there is always freshly baked pizza which is great and something on the grill.
The staff are extremly polite and helpful so the poor room experience becomes irrelevant. As for the weather, for the end of june and first days of july it was fantastic (around 30 c), with a few windy days but that did not spoil anything.
All in all, great for couples with small children, as we were the only ones there without a child :)
