Reviewed October 19, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This was a fabulous holiday The cottage was warm and very cosy. The village is a delight and the people are great. Romaldkirk is very near to interesting attractions ,The Lakes, Richard the Third Homes and Castles. I cannot wait to go back

“Nice cottage”
Reviewed September 27, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Lovely village but a little on the quite side , the cottage had every thing we needed but for a garden with having children wouldn't book again because of this . Rather dark in side had to have lights on all the time The village folk were not friendly at all . The cottage was very clean and the walk in shower a great bonus to me with having had a knee replace meant . all in all a nice cottage but wouldn't go again .

“A lovely little cottage in a lovely little village in a lovely part of England”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in April 2014

Quiet and peaceful; if you're looking for a place to unwind then this is it. The days were bright, sunny and warm and the people were friendly. The cottage was well cared for and equipped and very cosy. All the facilities are within an easy drive or the regular bus service will connect you to Darlington and the train.

“Quiet holiday in lovely surroundings.”
Reviewed September 28, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The cottage is well equipped and although slightly dark , it is warm and comfortable. It is situated in a quiet and picturesque village with walks on the doorstop which is handy if you have your dog with you
The location of the cottage is ideal for visiting the beautiful dales and moors with their many
Walks. Castles and Abbeys and stately homes are all nearby or of course if you aren' feeling
energetic you can relax and just dri nk in the views

We booked this last minute for New Year and it was just what we wanted. Cosy cottage with open fire, lovely and clean surrounded by fields and ideal walks. It was plenty big enough for my family with everything we needed. Double bed in one room and three singles in the other - with room for a cottage and z bed if needed

The cottage was as advertised. it was warm and well equipped with plenty of hot water and central heating on a timer and a thermostat which could be switched up or down as required. ideal centre for walking in Teesdale and surrounding area. Nice village with a pub but no shop. The owner is on hand and very helpful.
