Hi late review as we might be staying here this year...sorry for late review

I am going to start with arrival was met by a beautiful lady called Margaret, and she was lovely showed us to thr room (forgot name of room) but the room was lush has Jacuzzi bath and comfy beds and its own kitchen witch we just used for snacks. The kids loved the pool and us also liked the steam room,

The bistro restaurant what can i say the food was out of this world kieran & malcolmm oustatanding chefs made the stay even more enjoyable when they come out to speak to us and had a pint and laugh on new year aswell dont get that very often in places nice touch! And again food was outstanding couldn't fault! (Try the venison) but again keiron and malcolmm brilliant assets to this hotel and thats hard to find.

But overall excellent stay

Ps. Sorry for late review

Stayed in an apartment - had everything we needed, plenty of room, really warm and cleaned daily. Great service, all the staff really helpful.
Breakfast and dinner excellent (though guests who bring their dogs to meals should be respectful of other diners and not let them disturb others).
Would have liked to access swimming pool more, opening times for guests just never seemed to fit round our day.

Brilliant two night stay at embleton spa hotel Met by Alistair and his staff and immediatly felt welcome Nothing to much trouble and the food was excellent Facilities great and a great base to travell around the surrounding area Car parking can be awkward at certain times of the day but parking close by at village hall so no problem Overall a great place to stay will recommend

Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Complimentary upgrade to apartment. Great value and a great location with stunning views. Swimming pool was a welcome bonus, although availability is somewhat limited.

Room Tip: We were upgraded to an apartment which was very spacious. Worth the £10 premium usually charged.

Food here was delicious, fresh and great choice on menu. Gluten free and kids available. Love the toy box too complete with board games! Lovely, would recommend. Kids and adults will enjoy! We went to the pool also which was fine but quite small. I wouldn't rate this a spa hotel as there is little facilities and the changing rooms are tiny with little space and no lockers. The restaurant was lovely though!

As a family with 3 young children we recently stayed here for a 2-night break. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and made us coffee/cake with hot chocolates for the kids. This wasn't ever specified or requested but was a lovely touch. Our room was incredible (Bassenthwaite) and the food just right. The kids loved the pool and hot tub as did myself and my wife. The manager helpfully pointed us in the right direction for a couple of local walks (Sale Fell in particular). I would definitely recommend to families.

The Hotel was really nice, clean and beautifully presented, we were given an apartment and it was fantastic, double bedroom with rolling countryside views, bathroom with power shower, laundry with large screen TV, and well equipped kitchen including fridge, we had free wifi in the apartment. However for us a this was a long journey stop over and we wanted a place to dump the car have a walk and enjoy a relaxing spa, for this we picked the wrong place. There no village to walk to and you can hardly call it a spa Hotel, it has a reasonable sized pool, but you can only use it at certain times, early in the morning or in the evening, the jacuzzi is outside under a cover, not in the pool area, you have to take your room towel down with you. If you are looking for a remote place with luxury rooms, it's ideal. If your looking for spa break it's not.
