Stayed in an apartment - had everything we needed, plenty of room, really warm and cleaned daily. Great service, all the staff really helpful.
Breakfast and dinner excellent (though guests who bring their dogs to meals should be respectful of other diners and not let them disturb others).
Would have liked to access swimming pool more, opening times for guests just never seemed to fit round our day.

Brilliant two night stay at embleton spa hotel Met by Alistair and his staff and immediatly felt welcome Nothing to much trouble and the food was excellent Facilities great and a great base to travell around the surrounding area Car parking can be awkward at certain times of the day but parking close by at village hall so no problem Overall a great place to stay will recommend

Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Complimentary upgrade to apartment. Great value and a great location with stunning views. Swimming pool was a welcome bonus, although availability is somewhat limited.

Room Tip: We were upgraded to an apartment which was very spacious. Worth the £10 premium usually charged.

Food here was delicious, fresh and great choice on menu. Gluten free and kids available. Love the toy box too complete with board games! Lovely, would recommend. Kids and adults will enjoy! We went to the pool also which was fine but quite small. I wouldn't rate this a spa hotel as there is little facilities and the changing rooms are tiny with little space and no lockers. The restaurant was lovely though!

As a family with 3 young children we recently stayed here for a 2-night break. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and made us coffee/cake with hot chocolates for the kids. This wasn't ever specified or requested but was a lovely touch. Our room was incredible (Bassenthwaite) and the food just right. The kids loved the pool and hot tub as did myself and my wife. The manager helpfully pointed us in the right direction for a couple of local walks (Sale Fell in particular). I would definitely recommend to families.
