“Immaculate cottage with very comfy beds”
Reviewed May 10, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

This cottage is presented to an extremely high standard. So different to the average holiday rental! Beds feel new and even comfortable for my 6ft 7in partner. Sofas are also large and well made. Kitchen is family-friendly and spotless. Nespresso machine and pods provided - great news for us caffeine addicts who can’t drink instant coffee granules. The garden is very small but perfectly formed. The decor is modern and fresh.
The cottage is on a main rd but I didn’t notice any traffic noise at all. There is a supermarket very close by and a great fish and chip shop, chemist and a locals’ pub. The beach at Caister-on-Sea is wonderful and about a six minute walk. It feels windswept, bracing and delightful as the sun goes down. There is also a lifeboat station to visit. Caister doesn’t have buckets full of attractions to visit and it’s not exactly the poshest part of Norfolk but it is wonderfully situated to visit great spots. We adored Ross’s Wildlife Bost Tours from Horsey Windpump. £10 for an hour long trip through the reeds on the Broads. Saw buzzards, hobbies, dragonflies and stunning butterflies.

The hosts are great and helped me enormously when my son was ill. Thanks . Would love to visit again.

Firstly, just wanted to say we fully agree with the above review.

Stef and Nikki are very helpful and friendly, making sure all is to your satisfaction. And it was, very much so. We loved the cottage, loved the area and most of all, loved the beach. We took our dog with us and he loved it too! The beach is dog friendly and the locals are lovely. We wanted a quiet and relaxing holiday and we couldn't have picked a better accommodation or location.

We have no hesitation in highly recommending this holiday rental

“Excellent holiday property”

Excellent holiday property perfectly equipped for a family and within comfortable walking distance of a lovely beach. A very well equipped house for self-catering and very child friendly. Clean and well furnished including all linen and towels and Wi-Fi. Well equipped kitchen and hotel feel to the comfortably furnished bedrooms. Nice little touches such as the provision of shower gel and body lotion. Although it is not possible to park outside there is accessible free parking very close to the house. Located on a busy road but the noise is managed if you keep the windows closed at the property. Restaurants and different fast food / take away within walking distance. Recommend a stay here.
