There are many better beaches in area . Good for walking around on coastal footpath, and looking at boats in harbour. lovely village and nice cafe. Worth a visit if staying in the area . Car park charges now .

Beautiful day, lovely cove which was dog friendly. We saw oystercatchers too. Not bad for February

We have been coming here for years, it used to be free parking but that has gone now. A beautiful village between Porthmadog and Blackrock Sands with little bays. There are a couple of cafe/bistro type places and we have only used the one by the car park entrance. They were very tolerant of us with the grandchildren and the service was good. Well worth a visit.

Quiet, serene, sandy sheltered beach with the Glaslyn river running by. No hoardes of people or kids screaming, cafés or other distractions, just peace and quiet - especially good for watching seabirds. Views over to Harlech castle on the far shore and views out into Cardigan Bay. Fabulous cliff top walks round to Black Rock and beyond.

we took the opportunity during a dry day to walk down to the beach with the dogs, it had been wet so it was a little precarious in places, and my elderly parents did struggle a little. Lovely views across the bay and the dogs enjoyed a swim and a roll in the sand. We would have liked to walk further but the tide was coming in and we were worried about getting back to the path. Well worth a look.
