I found our stay for a budget ski break fantastic.
Was expecting it to be a little rough around the edges but pleasantly surprised to find it kept fantastically clean, special mention to the house keeping staff who left the rooms in a very good state every day.
Breakfast was part of the cost and a typical continental style but perhaps lacking the normal choice of meats and cheeses you'd usually find in slightly more expensive hotels.
Staff in addition also very friendly and had no problems with us leaving our bags and using there shower in the sauna room before our late departure to the airport

This hotel is a great location but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The bed linen was rank. The blanket was old and grubby, something I’d give my pet dog. The sheets were worn and grubby looking, the pillows were bumpy. We went in French half term so was really expensive. The breakfast was ok but no staff around to top anything up. (Ran out of milk, no water left to boil the eggs). There’s no hairdryer or tea/ coffee making facilities. 2 star is apt.

The greeting from the host is really nice. Makes you feel at home right away. What let’s this hotel down is ... well it’s a little dated now. And in need of some tlc. For us, 2 lads out to be in the slopes as much as possible it just about made do. But be warned. There is nothing apart from the greeting that’s worth writing about !! It’s 2* all the way. Don’t expect more and you won’t be disappointed

This hotel is ideally located in central Morzine, it is outdated and basic but comfortable, clean and warm with a great friendly, helpful host. Rooms are fairly spacious and some have fantastic views of the mountains.

I visited with two friends in late December. We used the hotel as a base for a few days skiing. The hotel is close to the town centre and not far from the slopes (about a seven minute walk to the Morzine telecabine and chairlifts), but off the main road so there's no traffic noise. The hotel had ski storage facilities but we elected to leave our skis at the rental location each night to save carrying.

The welcome we received on arrival was warm and friendly. We were a party of 3 adults sharing a room, and the owner decided to put us in a bigger room than the one we had booked, which was very generous.

Facilities are basic but functional and clean. The room had two distinct sleeping areas with a double bed in one and two singles in the other; the two areas were separated by a small but clean bathroom with a bath and shower (which worked well). There was ample storage for the three of us including bulky skiwear. The wifi worked fine and we were able to make video calls and stream video. We could have done with a few more power sockets, and for the sockets to be in more accessible locations.

Breakfast was a buffet with cereals, good cheeses and meats, croissants and bread, fruit, yoghurt, and the option to boil yourself an egg. Help yourself to juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. The restaurant is open in the evening for dinner (pre-booking is required) but we didn't make use of it so are unable to comment on the food.

There is a small bar area, with beer or tap and a selection of other drinks. We ordered gin and tonics which were made with tonic water that was past its best, but the beer was perfectly good.

Overall this friendly, family-run, hotel is a good bet for anyone looking for a budget place to stay in the ski season.
