This was the third time I've stayed at Chalet Credence, each time with a large group of friends. The accommodation is well laid out and lends itself to being shared by two or three families or a large group of friends like ourselves. We self-catered most nights and the dining room comfortably sits 18. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there are sufficient bath / shower rooms to make sure noone has to wait too long. During the day time and early evening the free ski bus stops right outside, which is great for getting to / from the slopes. In the evenings the town centre is walkable (c20 minutes) if you can cope with a shortish but rather steep incline on the return journey. The in-situ chalet host is friendly and helpful, he was there to meet us on arrival, arranged for logs to be delivered for the log-burner during the week, helped when one of our party needed a Dr's prescription / medication and came to see us off on departure. Morzine itself is an excellent place to ski with access to a wide variety of ski slopes in Morzine itself, as well as Les Gets, Avoriaz and over the border into Switzerland. There are plenty of bars, restaurant and nightlife in the town.
