We had the best skiing holiday possible at Champs Fleuris. The family run hotel staff could not do enough for you! Breakfasts were ample to fuel you for the days skiing ahead. Having two boys, early and late teens, who are fussy eaters ...was not a problem as the evening meals were great ...having a starter from the buffet, a choice of two mains and then a scrumptious dessert! ...my boys surprised us by trying everything!
Based at the bottom of Le Pleney, with the gondola being two seconds from the hotels entrance, was amazing and sitting in the bar you could enjoy a drink and watch as everybody descended the mountain. Champs Fleuris had quality evening entertainment in the bar and a pool table for those of us with older children. There is a spa room, with dressing gowns and slippers provided in your rooms, good for those aching muscles!! On departure at 5am we came down to cake and coffee which they had provided.
Ski Hire shops and village are within walking distance. Hotel Le Cottage on the opposite corner had some awesome bands on as you came off the slopes and was great for a drink and an interactive crowd before heading back for evening meal and bed! NB. Crepes are cheaper with a little walk across the road than at the bottom of Le Pleney!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view 👍🏼

We stayed in January for a ski holiday. Generations of the Michaud family have run this hotel for many years, and take a very hands on approach as they run the reception and have a visible profile during meal times so ensuring excellent service from their friendly staff. The hotel is located very close to the main Pleney lift and you can ski back to the hotel via several ski runs. Rooms are perhaps marginally larger than many French ski resorts, and many have stunning views. I believe all have large flat screens although the UK stations are limited and the reception not great. WiFi is free and good. No tea/coffee making facilities in your rooms (not unusual for France) so you might want to take a travel kettle and some sachets, or go to the bar? There is an indoor swimming pool, and a small but modern spa. Breakfast is buffet style with many options. You can eat at lunch time (we didn't) and the evening meal is excellent. Again the starters are buffet style and although there may only be 2 options for the mains they will endeavor to cook you an alternative if neither option is to your liking. The sweets are quite exceptional. The Michauds will also organise your ski pass and offer a 10% discount which is likely to be cheaper than that offered by your travel rep on the coach. They will also arrange a 10% discount on ski hire at several local shops. The centre of the resort is just 5 mins walk away. The only down side is that Morzine is a low resort so deep snow cannot be guaranteed, but if mountain walks in the summer is your preference than once again the location of this hotel could not be more perfect.

We had an amazing family holiday here. The room was perfect - with a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains and a separate bunk room for the boys. The swimming pool, spa and games room were great for post skiing entertainment. The food was delicious and the staff serving us were attentive and courteous - teaching us a few new French words along the way! The location was fantastic, right next to the Pleney lift and close to the town centre. We have been skiing in Morzine for a number of years and can't believe we hadn't found this gem before. We will be back.

Have been to the Champs Fleuris for many years and cannot rate it high enough. The welcome and attention provide by the Michaud family is outstanding and nothing is ever a problem. There is an ESF guide, Claude, assigned to the Hotel who is a fantastic addition to the service you get with your reservation - he is a real character as well.
Food is amazing and 5 courses after a hard day in the Portes is more than welcome.
This hotel should be 5 stars ..

Room Tip: Try and get the Chalet Martine adjoined to the hotel.. All the hotel facilities are available to Chalet guests.

This hotel is amazing. Firstly the location is the best in Morzine, right next to the ski lift or you can ski down to it if you prefer.

Next the views are stunning as its perched quite high up and facilities are impeccable both room and spa, pool etc.

But the real highlight is the staff. They are all incredible. Ever ready to please. They look after you like you are family.

Congratulation Champs Fleuris, hotels should be emulating the experience you offer.
