The hotel is located very close to the splendid Dolgoch Falls and is a short walk from Dolgoch station on the steam-operated narrow gauge Talyllyn Railway.

The en-suite room was spacious and comfortable. Both bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cooked to order using high quality ingredients. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the hosts attentive but not overbearing.

I strongly recommend the hotel for a relaxing break.

Relaxed after a nice walk. Lovely coffee and tea and a great selection of cakes, brought to the table, which the local sparrows and robins enjoyed the crumbs from on this lovely sunny day. Great walks in the local area or take the train!

Lovely café we sat in the early warm spring sunshine after enjoying the walk around the waterfalls, great café, great service and staff, lovely peaceful setting with views, lovely cappuccino. Such a nice location.

Pricey pleasant tea room that has a monopoly on refreshments at the Dolgoch Falls.

Unbelievably dogs are NOT allowed in, despite this being the only place to get refreshments at one of the most popular dog walking tourist attractions in the area.

Order at the counter, service to your table. Our coffees, tea and hot chocolate were all very nice as was the cheese and ham panini.

The place is not cheap and there is nothing extraordinary about the food to warrant the price other than the location.

Outside tables and chairs are available (if it's not raining).

Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly service. Right beside Dolgoch Falls (worth a visit) and the Dolgoch Halt so good access to the Talyllyn railway. Free parking if staying at the hotel or just stopping at the cafe for lunch or tea and cake - all homemade.

Room tip: All rooms roughly the same size (adequate). Annex has a bit extra space for wet clothes and shoes.
