We visited in September on a sunny Saturday. The scenery on the way to Devil's Bridge was stunning. Arrived there and found a free car park, with short walk to the falls. Reasonably priced admission, gentleman there said it takes about 45 mins - that was optimistic. Lovely going down but as we got lower and lower I was getting a little bit concerned about the climb back up. There were plenty of stopping places and a fantastic wooden gazebo type building where we stopped for a while. Take your time and you should be ok. We are both in good health but found the climb back up a bit challenging - should have read the access instructions at the entrance - which we only saw after. Stunning waterfall, we had some good pictures. The hotel at the top - I would give it a miss next time. We stopped for a drink only - very dated inside. The place to eat is further up from the falls, a pretty little café at the entrance of the caravan / camping park. Pretty little place run by a lovely couple - reasonably priced, good value meals, clean toilets - a really well looked after café, full of character and little gifts for sale too. On the way out of the village is the station, we stopped here to look at a little steam train that had just pulled in. There are daily trips to Aberystwyth but not sure whether they are seasonal so check first. There's also a little café here too and they sell wooden bird boxes and carvings. A most enjoyable day out.

Thank you for your kind review. The walk can be challenging for some but I'm glad that you managed it the whole way around. It is worth noting that visitors can turn back from the gazebo and exit at the entrance if they are struggling with the steps. I agree, the tea room at the entrance to the Woodlands Caravan park is very good, and the steam train from Aberystwyth is lovely to see (It is seasonal)

Well worth a visit and reasonably priced. It's a hard walk with big climbs so wear sturdy shoes. Take your cameras as the picture opportunities are good

It was a steep climb down some steps... but worth the £1 entrance... to see the Bridges and the falls... definitely a good experience

The clue is in the attraction title - Devils Bridge Falls (or Mynack Falls). For a waterfall to be successful one needs a steep incline and a quantity (preferably large) of water. These falls have both in quantity. Simplistically the water falls a distance of approx 400' over a number of drops. The walk through the woods to the bottom is via a series of steady inclines and a number of steep steps hewn into the rocks. Very impressive and carefully laid out in a very safe manner. Read the access instructions before setting off - good strong shoes or walking boots are an essential and make life much easier.

The steep descent obviously leads to a similar ascent but take it steadily, stop and enjoy the views and the top will arrive again! Importantly taking it steadily gives you time to take in the scenery and enjoy the whole experience.

There are two walks available - a 10 min "quicky" - most of which can be seen from the road bridge and the longer (deeper) walk - take a deep breath and go for the long walk - you won't be disappointed I am sure.

Devils bridge is a lovely spot to visit if your in the area which we were. Very hard climb back up the uneven steps and very wet but well worth it.
