This location is no longer open. tried very hard to suceed, but locals are wishy washy when it comes to supporting businesses that are not operated by tried and true locals.

As we were exploring the Bruce Peninsula we stopped here for lunch. I had the basic Western Sandwich, which was excellent. The real highlight though was the borscht based on red beets. This was the genuine article and tasted just great. There are other Ukrainian dishes on the menu that will be tried another time.

My husband and I stayed in nearby Lion's Head at a B&B over the Easter long weekend, and got take-out twice from North on 6. We went for the Good Friday all-you-can-eat fish and chips special for $14.99 but ended up looking at the menu and ordering some of their Ukrainian food instead. The cabbage rolls and perogies were fantastic, and we also got an order of sweet potato fries that came with a great dip. They said it was chipotle and while it didn't taste like any chipotle dip I've ever had (had a cumin-like flavour to it?), it was unusual and very, very good. We walked in, placed our order and waited, and our food was quick, although the place was packed. We always think a busy restaurant is a good sign when we try a new place!

We returned on another night for the actual fish and chips. This time the chips were a little less done than they were on Good Friday but still okay. The fish was very good -- you can get one piece or two pieces of fish. We called ahead this time; it was less than 15 minutes wait so by the time we arrived, our food was already waiting for us. We had the same young woman at cash both times. She was very pleasant and efficient. Next time we're in the area, I'd like to sit in, and maybe come for their buffet, which looked and smelled very good.

This place has the best food ever. We eat there often and always take home part of the meal. They have a new liquor licence so things will be changing a bit but I am sure the food will always be great.
Love it.
