I find it difficult to briefly summarise an evening with great food, excellent ingredients but with a dreadful service.
The whole 2-dish dinner lasted for 2:30 hrs, to begin with: on soliciting the second dish, after more than 45 minutes from the first, we were answered in a all but friendly manner that we had not been forgotten.
Moreoever, we were in a patio and given the season and the time there was a huge number of vicious mosquitos (please check the attached photo) both on the patio and in the internal rooms: windows were open and lights attracted them inside too. The only remedy provided was, to the best of my knowledge, a couple of fumigators for a large space, within a zone which is renown for such nuisance.
In my opinion we may enjoy a better evening eating out simple food but in a welcoming establishment rather than in a more elegant one when people treats you with disrespect.
NB: while I write this I believe - and I hope - that something must have happened the night in question to have triggered such a catastrophe for an establishment which has the potential (congrats to the chef) to be one of the best in the vicinity
