12 km trail out from. MULLINGAR. They have a bike stand run by John and Mary Moriarty.

Good food drinks and snacks even rebel red on tap. Worth a stop off.

They do special deals for bikers coffee and tea brackets etc.

One of the nicest pubs we've been in, it's comfortable and relaxing. A pleasure to visit. Extremely accommodating hosts. We stayed in the B&B and it ticks all the boxes. In particular the breakfast was AMAZING! Would love to stay there again

The hospitality we received from Mary & John  during our stay at Mary Lynch's was so amazing .....5 star treatment (Mary even picked us up at Thomastown H arbour & drove us back there the next morning). We had walked 40km on the Royal Canal Way on a very wet day & arrived tired, cold, wet & miserable but Mary with her unique blend of warmth & professionalism had taken our food order (from their full menu even though it was their night off) and checked us into our beautiful cosy room where we throughly appreciated the wonderful hot shower. John is the chef and prepared our evening meal & breakfast & both were top quality. Their prices are so reasonable & we left totally chilled, relaxed and ready for another 40km walk. We will definitely return to Mary Lynch soon maybe to one of their 'trad' nights.

We stopped here while going from Dublin to Sligo.
Staff were lovely and service was good.

Food was OK, not amazing but did the trick and was tasty

Place has a nice old Irish local feel, almost like being in someone's house.

It's right beside the canal and is in a pretty location

We had a brilliant time in Mary lunch's. It was a perfect stop off point on our royal canal walk from Hyde park to mullingar. The childern were quickly entertained with Chalk, black board and playing cards. As they arrived ahead of the group they were served promptly. They accommondated 8 vegartarian also. kids were also occupied with DVD while the adults enjoyed their deserts. The old world pub had a lovely atmosphere, with log fires and old ornaments. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We will return again.
