We spent 3 nice days at the Rockwood house and appreciated the spacious, clean and nicely decorated bedroom and the friendlyness of the hosts. The location is practical with a public car park just over the road. Also the station for the steam train to Bolton Abbey is within short walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this b&b to anyone.

We enjoyed a few days retracing our old haunts in Yorkshire. This B&B was very comfortable. We had a large room with a super view. Tea making supplies included fresh milk. Wi fi available. Generous breakfasts and friendly welcome.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have good views of hillside opposite.

My partner and I spent 3 very comfortable nights at Rockwood House, which is in the heart of a tranquil village, with friendly pub nearby. Local walks were fantastic especially Embsay Crag and Bolton Abbey by steam train.
Jean at Rockwood House was very welcoming and cooked a lovely breakfast; served with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

stayed here for 3 nights while i was working in skipton and i cant say enough how lovely my stay was.beautiful family home well decorated and the bed was to die for, if i could of taken it with me i would. The lady that runs the B&B is so friendly and cooks a fantastic breakfast which is definitely not a greasy spoon cafe breakfast. There's a lovely little local pub across the road which does great food and if busy every night with locals which is a great sign.location is great if your on a trip to Bolton or heading into skipton. i walked to skipton one morning as the weather was fine and it took about 30 min slow walk with great view's. i will defiantly be returning for a weekend away and recommend this B&B to anyone.

Small establishment, cannot check in until 5.00pm which is later than most places I've stayed. The bedroom down stairs does not have a mirror apart from in the bathroom so not very helpful when trying to get ready. The tiny china cups and saucers were nice to look at but would have preferred a large cup or a mug! there was only a small amount of milk in a little jug (unrefrigerated) the shower cubicle was on the small side. The large bedroom upstairs with a double bed was worth the money but think the smaller twin room downstairs should have been a little cheaper as it was not as nice. Beds were comfy overall was a nice stay. The Elm Tree across the road was excellent for food!
