We stayed for 5 days in July in the middle cottage -- "Robin Middle" which is between the other two cottages and is the most reasonably priced with 2 bedrooms upstairs, a bath downstairs (with ample hot water) and another toilet upstairs. The location is perfect (Hebden which is between Grassington and Burnsall) -- with a lovely view of the stream and wildlife out the living room and many happy scenic walks out the door. The interior is nicely done. There's your own seating area outside with the view. The kitchen was also nice and included a clothes washer (no dryer). There were families on both sides, but we didn't really hear them much.
We really enjoyed the walk to the moors at dusk. Our favorite walk was from Hebden to Burnsall along the river. And we were also delighted that we could walk to a wonderful tea room in Hebden for breakfast or lunch -- The Old School Tea Room Cafe where we enjoyed another good view including horses and had tasty food (even the porridge was delicious with oranges, pistachios, and honey). The couple who own Jerry and Ben's live next door and were very kind and helpful.More
