“Contempory cottage but in keeping with local village”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

From the outset of the booking I was well looked after. The cottage owner Gemma kept in contact with me and was on hand via email to assist and answer any questions I had. They were very accommodating which was great especially with my family having a 4 month old. The cottage is lovely. It feels contempaory but in keeping with the local area. The cottage is convenient for access to the lovely market town of skipton. And is situated in the country with pubs and a all the charm you would expect but conveniently has a train station close by.
Good stay for families and and a thoughtful owner.

Liked best: The efficiency and the practicality of the cottage

“The perfect vista!”
Reviewed May 19, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

My friends and I stayed at the highview cottage whilst preparing for our Etape du dales bike ride which was a perfect location for the dales. Our host, Gemma was more then helpful and the cottage itself was superb. Very modern, immaculate and the view is breathtaking. If you want the beauty of the dales, this cottage is the perfect gateway coupled with fantastic service. Thanks again!

“Captivating”
Reviewed February 19, 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Our third visit to Shangrila in the hills above Connonley. What supberb views even on an inclement day. The air is clean and free when out walking thses beautiful country lanes. Plenty of ameneties nearby. Good village pubs. Dine out in nearby Skipton never failed to please. The cottage is spotless inside and snugly warm in Winter. If you choose to dine in lots of space. And WiFi to boot excellent reception.
