Most of the previous reviews have said it all.

Olive and James are great hosts - James drove us into Cushendall on a very wet and windy night and dropped us off at a pub / restaurant.

Really good breakfast cooked fresh for you.

Lovely room and a great view from our room down to the sea.

We arrived late after a full day of exploring the Antrim Coast and we were welcomed with coffee/tea and bread right away. It was a pleasant location, comfortable room but the views were spectacular. I'm so glad we were able to stay there!

We stayed in Cullentra at the start of our holiday. On arrival we were offered tea and Olive’s delicious cake and also several times throughout our stay. Olive and James were extremely helpful and excellent hosts and made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. It is a top B & B with beautiful decor and breathtaking views. We would highly recommend it and look forward to going back.

Our arrival at this glorious B&B nestled in the hills above Cushendall was a treat following a wet and windy visit to the Causeway! Olive and James' warm welcome was matched by the delicious cake and tea offered to us in the visitors' lounge. After an evening stroll down the lovely road to admire the enchanting scenery and chat with sheep, cows and horses, we settled into a very comfortable sleep in our well appointed room. The decor of our room was much like one might expect in a boutique hotel; tasteful quality accented with extra touches like fresh fruit in a bowl and chocolates. Our hostess went above and beyond in recommending, and then securing accommodation for us at another B&B for the following night in County Louth. All in all, a class act, well deserving of their many awards!

If you are on the northern coast of Ireland I reccommend this place. I stayed here only one night this summer with my wife. The place is very beautiful: it is located on a hill, 1.5 km from the town, dipped in the green, with a great view. It is a very quiet place, far from the noise. The welcome is the greatest part since the owners are fantastic: they offer you bisquits and coffea/tea and, if the weather is nice, you can have your snack in the garden with a great view on the ocean. The rooms are clean and nice, not huge, but more than enough for a confortable night. The breakfast is also very good: you can actually choose what you want and the owner will satisfy you. I suggest, of course, the irish breakfast! The only note: if you want to stay here you need the car. The place is too far from the town to go up and down by walking.
As said, we stayed here only one night but we think this place would be also great for a relaxing full week in green peaceful northern coast!

Many thanks for your comments. We were delighted to hear that you enjoyed the peace and quiet, the perfect way to unwind and have a relaxing holiday.

The town is only a leisurely stroll away but for the less energetic we can offer transport so that you can enjoy a relaxing evening in anyone of the fabulous restaurants free from the stress of having to drive.

but did not find it dogfriendly at all. We had informed the B&B that we had 'enormous' dogs but that they would only be in the room only if we were there as we travel with them extensively. We were approched aggressivly 'to remove them imidiately' the next morning and when my husband returned to the room for the car keys she followed him and kept knocking on the door!! At breakfast we got served a teapot (having ordered coffee) and when I offred it to a couple who had ordered tea the landlady came charging out of the kitchen and reproached me for interfering and told us off until she realized she had made a mistake and from then on was falsely friendly towards us. So for us it was not even 'human-friendly'. We won't be back.
The house itself is nice and clean, beautiful location with wonderful views.

I am sorry to hear that this couple found their stay with us unwelcoming but I have to say that their comments are highly exaggerated. Firstly we are not on a dog friendly list, we advertise ourselves as accepting dogs outside the Guest House. Two gigantic dogs in a bedroom at night is stretching things to the limit.

On arrival the guests asked us to babysit their dogs whilst they went to a restaurant. When we informed them that we could not accommodate their request things suddenly went down hill. Next morning the dogs had to be removed as they went to enter the dining room where other guests were having breakfast. This was necessary to ensure that the other guests did not feel uncomfortable.

We pride ourselves in offering a warm welcome to all our guests and at no time would we be aggressive to our customers. Once again I am sorry If these guests felt unhappy but I have to think of the needs of everyone visiting the Guest House and it does not help to find fault with many other aspects of the service as a result of one issue.
